Dusty Density Sensor Message
Step 1
Clean the Density Sensor
Solution: Replace the Transfer Roller


    Note: The transfer roller is interchangeable between the Phaser 6200 and the Phaser 6250.

    Note: Remember to use the white Information Key on the Front Panel to gain access to additional, important details about the current display message, such as jam clearing instructions and Supply's re-ordering information.
Front Panel

  1. Push up button A and fully open the front cover.
  2. Open Cover A

  3. Look inside the printer and grip the orange tabs at both ends of the transfer roller and gently lift the transfer roller out of the printer. Discard as normal office waste.
  4. Look Inside Grip Orange Tabs

  5. Unpack a new transfer roller and insert the stubs on both ends of the transfer roller into the u-shaped guides inside the printer.
  6. Insert new Transfer Roller

  7. To lock the transfer roller into the printer, push down on the base of the orange tabs until you hear a click on both the right and left sides.
  8. Lock Transfer Roller

  9. Close front cover A.
  10. Close Cover A
